Greetings and salutations! I've been out of the blogging scene and haven't really written in while, so this is pretty exciting for me. I've long thought that the older I get the more I need to get stuff out of my brain and into digital form. I also need a worthwhile hobby, and I used to help people build websites back in the day, so I'm a little rusty.

My name is Red. At least that's what I'm called online. This is not my real name, and as far as I know there are exactly three people online who know my real name. Mind you, that's not an invitation to dox me, yo. :)

I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the 70s, raised further in Germany in the late 80s and 90s where I went to high school and worked for quite a while. Back to the states late 90s.

I proudly call myself a girl dad to two daughters. When I talk about them on this site, I will be referring to them with aliases. Growing up GenX taught me not to get my name splashed all over the Internet.

Right now, I live in rural Osage County in Oklahoma, the reddest state in the union. So I'm told but have lived and learned. I have a dog named Banjo and a cat named Ripley. I love them and will write about them a lot.
