Red's French Onion Dip

  1. Melt butter in stock pan over medium heat
  2. Add onions, salt, pepper, onion powder, & cayenne pepper. Cook 5 minutes, stirring. Reduce heat to medium low & cook 20-25 min, stirring occasionally. Onions should be sweet and golden. Allow to cool.
  3. Put cream cheese, sour cream, & mayo in bowl. Mix. Soften with microwave if needed to mix.
  4. Add caramelized onions. Mix. Refrigerate until cool. Overnight is best.
  5. Add chopped parsley and chives as a topping or mix it in and serve. Enjoy!
