Email to the Accommodation Office
Hi,
I've been told that I have been granted seafront Summer accommodation, but I am unsure as to what happens now. I am aware that, as Elaine Watkin will tell you, after 3 years of living in Aberystwyth during which I have never needed Summer accommodation I should - of course - know the procedure inside out and back to front so I apologise profusely for inconveniencing you with this email. However if you could answer the following questions I would be eternally grateful:
1. Will I be able to start moving my belongings on Monday the 14th? I have rather a lot of items to move having originally lived in a private flat.
2. When do I collect the key, and where from? Where do I return the old key to?
3. When and how will I be given the contract? I've still not seen the contract for my current residence which is, of course, entirely my own fault. I didn't exactly relish my last conversation regarding the contract so I'd like to make sure I don't have to endure it again.
4. Where is my new flat and how much will it cost per week?
Thank you very much for your time. Once again I apologise for the lateness of my application for Summer residence and all the other various crimes against nature in the world.
MATTHEW LOWE,

Okay I'm not going to send it exactly like that, the last paragraph is a little OTT. The rest of it is staying as it is though.
