RACE: Region-based Atomic Contact Excluder
Provide input for RACE to zero ASA of atoms within user-defined
spherical or cylindrical regions:
Notes:
- A spherical region can be used for a capsid-like hollow structure whose
inner-surface lining residues are solvent-accessible but antibody-
inaccessible.
- A cylindrical region can be used for a tubular structure (e.g., pore or
channel) whose lining residues may be solvent-accessible but antibody-
inaccessible.
- A cylindrical region can encompass the antibody-inaccessible (e.g.,
transmembrane and intracellular) atoms of an entire membrane-associated
structure.
- The coordinates of reference point 1 are associated with the center of
either a spherical region or one end (i.e., circular face) of a cylindrical
region.
- The coordinates of reference point 2 are either ignored for a spherical
region or associated with the center of the other end (i.e., circular face)
of a cylindrical region.
